Vermont Spring Skiing

Whether it is Spring Break, St. Patrick's Day Weekend, a family getaway or a romantic escape with that special person, Spring skiing in the Green Mountains of Vermont couldn't be any better.  This year the weather has been very kind to our skier guests and friends.

The Willoughvale Inn offers some great rates for both our cottages and the rooms at the Inn.  We are just a short drive to the slopes for downhill skiing or the mountain trails for some great cross-country skiing.  Click HERE to see our special rates.

The Spring is so great because it combines the winter activities and opens the new season for spring activities.  As the roads clear take a tour of the shops and stores for our natural maple syrup, cheeses and more.

Here is a great deal for the end of the season ...

Pumpkin Picking in the NEK

One of the signature items of Halloween is jack-o-lanterns. Before you can start carving, you need to choose the perfect pumpkin. The Northeast Kingdom has many pumpkin patches and vegetable stands to explore. Pete’s Greens in Craftsbury is a farm stand that sells pumpkins already picked off the patch. For a more interactive experience pick your own at O'Donnell Farm in Westfield, they have pumpkins in the field, pumpkins already gathered from the field, a corn maze, a child-sized hay bale maze, horse-drawn hay rides and tractor-pulled hay rides.  Pumpkins abound in Vermont, be sure to find yours before the season ends!
