GIL'S BAR & GRILL

At the Willoughvale Inn, Gil's Bar & Grill is the place to relax and meet other travelers or guests.  Whether you are a guest, a traveler passing by or a local, we look forward to welcoming you at Gil's.  

The bar opens at 4:30 PM and dinner is served from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday in July and August.  In September and October dinner is serviced from Wednesday through Sunday.

Whether your favorite is steak, seafood or chicken, our head chef has a treat that can't be beat.  If its just a quick meal, try our burgers YUM YUM.

Enjoy fishing and boatign on Lake Willoughby and we are a short ride from the Pump House Waterpark at Jay Peak.  So come on by and have a cool Summer getaway.

Vermont wildlife is amazing! 

Whether you are cruising the back roads, biking on the mountain trails or paddling on Lake Willoughby it is an opportunity to observe some amazing animals, such as the moose and the loons.  It is definitely worth the time and the effort to find these animals and to just observe their activities.

Whether you are watching the loons or the moose, please be careful and do not try to feed wild animals and always be careful around wild animals.  With this in mind, enjoy the peaceful beauty of each of these creatures in their natural habitat.

From the Willoughvale Inn you have convenient access to Lake Willoughby and not to far to go for the mountain trails.  You never know what you may encounter.  When you do please be sure to snap a pic or a video and share it with us.

The Vermont Northeast Kingdom is all about relaxation and getting away from your busy routine.  Time with your significant other or with the family.  At the Willoughvale Inn, its a perfect location!  We are within an hour of the Jay Peak Water Park and convenient for daily road trips to the Vermont shops, farms and entertainment.

If you are more into some activities, how about trail biking, fishing, canoeing or rock climbing?  After a fun day on the road or on the mountain trails drop into Gil's Grill in the inn for a cool drink or a great meal.  Even when there is some rain, some time on your cottage patio or in front of the fireplace is good for the soul.

Spring Time Cruise in the Vermont Mountains

From Montpelier to St. Albans, the Willoughvale Inn is conveniently located for a one or two hour drive through the mountains and for some of the most beautiful lake views ever.  The weather this coming weekend is perfect with an average temperature in the 50s.

Montpelier, the state capital, is worth a day visit.  The city has been chosen by Smithsonian Magazine as one of the top 20 cities to visit in the United States.  The city has also been chosen as one of the best cities to live in.

The local indoor farmer market will be opening soon and the maple syrup farms are along the road as you go do your cruising.

You don't have to be a student for a Spring Break.  Put the taxes away for a couple days and head for the lake and mountains.  The Willoughvale Inn is offering an April special of a 50% discount on rooms at the inn and lakeside cabins.  The special is available from Sundays through Thursdays.
