Fall in the Northeast Kingdom!

When you think of fall foliage - you picture the vibrant colors across the mountains and hills of Vermont. The Northeast Kingdom is the quintessential place to take in the autumn beauty by foot, horseback, bike or car.

Hike Mt. Pisgah & Mt. Hor where you will get the dramatic view of Lake Willoughby. Other great hikes include Wheeler Mountain and Bald Mountain.

Enjoy the beauty of the landscape on horseback! DND Stables in East Burke offers 1.5 hour guided fall foliage horseback rides.

For bike riding in the fall Kingdom Trails offers an extensive network of scenic recreational trails constructed to accommodate all levels of ability.

Hop in your car and drive the winding roads through the hills of the Kingdom. We can help with suggested drives and fun stops along the way.

However you choose to explore the spectacular foliage that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer you will not be disappointed. The best way may be to simply sit back and take in the view from your room or cottage at the WilloughVale Inn!
